Mission:

​The FILES Arts Project (TFAP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to strengthen traditionally underserved communities through arts education, thus bridging the gap between all communities, leading to life-long pursuits of excellence in every area of life.

Talk of Alabama Interview

Kat Files & Royce Files will perform on the Alabama School of Fine Arts Dance Department Fall Repertory. The performances will be held, Friday-Saturday, November 9-10, 2018 at 7pm and Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:30pm. Tickets are $10 or $5 for students.
Kat, an ASFA dance alum, graduate of Fordham University/The Ailey School has been joined by her brother, Royce Files, a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate in Saxophone at The University of Southern California (USC). Royce will perform Caprice en forme de Valse (Paul Bonneau 1918-1995) with Kat performing dance work, Interplay, by noted choreographer Germaul Barnes. This piece was most recently performed on Royce Files', Doctor of Musical Arts Recital, in Newman Recital Hall at USC.
